Tell Us a little about yourself
My name is Jeannette, I started coming to the studio a year and a half ago, I have always been involved in fitness and working out at least 4 to 5 times a week, but I have never practice yoga before I came to the studio.
Yoga has become an essential part of my life. It is a spiritual place, a place of motivation and determination.
Had you practiced yoga before coming to Thavma Bikram Yoga?
No. This is my very first time and has become a life goal.
What made you decide to do the 30 Day Challenge?
My competitive nature wanting to prove to myself that I could do it and get better at all the various postures.
What did you want to accomplish from your 30 Day Challenge?? Did you achieve your goal?
Improve at all the various postures. Yes, I achieved my goal, but still have a long way to go.
What changes did you see during and after your 30 days of Hot yoga?
During the 30 days I experienced an increase in strength and stamina. Every time I take a class I get a little more out of it.
What did you learn/gain from doing Thavma Yoga regularly?
Felt stronger and empowered. Yoga keeps me balanced.
What did you love most from doing the Challenge?
The way it made me feel. Lots of energy. It helped me with my everyday life.
What’s your favorite posture!?
I have two favorite postures. The Camel and the Warrior.

The studio is an amazing place filled with positive energy and love.
Marina Bourantonis and the knowledgeable instructors are the reason why I have become so dedicated to my yoga practices.
