No, I had not practiced any style of Yoga prior to Thavma Hot Yoga

Why did you decide to do Thavma Yoga’s 30 day challenge and what did you want to accomplish? Did you achieve your goal?
I wanted to do the 30-day challenge to not only test myself physically but also to mentally reset my Body and Mind. I felt that by releasing myself to the challenge I was able to reach a higher level of self-worth, that surpassed my goals.
What changes did you see during and after your 30 days of consecutive Thavma Yoga?
The level of my self confidence increased throughout the challenge as I got closer to my goal. Since I have completed the challenge, I have felt mentally renewed and more at peace with myself and my inner struggles.
What did you learn/gain from doing Hot Yoga regularly?
I learned breathing techniques that have helped me release my daily stress and overwhelming emotions. I have also learned how to identify and try to self-correct my poses and form.
What did you love most about the Challenge?
Being able to release the stress and built-up tension of everyday life all the while pushing myself beyond anything that I have ever done before.
Do you have a favorite posture, if so what is it?
Standing Bow
What do you love the most about Thavma Yoga?
The judgement free environment and ability to be comfortable in a vulnerable state. I am also truly grateful for the people and connections that extend beyond the Studio.
