Had you practiced yoga before coming to Thavma Bikram Yoga ?

 I attended another yoga studio for a few classes, but the instruction was minimal and I really 

wasn’t comfortable.
 

 What Made you decide to do the 30 Day Challenge?

 I enjoy challenges and this one sounded like fun.

What did you want to accomplish from your 30 Day Challenge?? Did you achieve your goal?

 I was hoping to improve my postures with the 30 day challenge and I feel that I did that , more importantly I feel much more calm and at peace after a yoga class. That is a terrific bonus.

What changes did you see during and after your 30 days of bikram yoga?

 I am more flexible now and I can really tell a difference when I skip a class, so no class skipping for me!

What did you learn/gain from doing Bikram yoga regularly ?

I have learned that I do have the ability to calm my mind which always seems to be racing, it just takes practice. 

What did you love most from doing the Challenge??

 I knew this would be a challenge working full time and with everything that goes on in a busy family. I am really proud of myself and so is my husband, but he never doubted that I would finish.

 What’s your favorite posture!?

My favorite posture is the standing bow. It’s certainly not my best pose but it has taught me so much about the mind body connection.

 What do you think about our  Studio!

I love the studio at Thavma Yoga! I couldn’t wait for the studio to open. I tell all of my friends about Bikram, I’m trying to get as many new students as I can.
The instructors are great and I love the fact that they take the time to learn everyone’s name. Never a stranger at Thavma!
