1.  Tell us a little about yourself.
* Originally from New York, and have lived coast to coast for about 8 years until I settled down in Sarasota, Florida in 2016. Staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends and family are the most important things in my life.

2. Have you done other styles of Yoga other than Thavma Yoga?
* Yes, Vinyasa, and I was a member of Core Power when I lived in Seattle, Washington.

3. What made you decide to take your first Thavma Class?
* I googled “yoga places near by” a few years ago, and Thavma popped up with fantastic reviews. I started the 2 week trial and fell in love. I have been an active member ever since.

4. What made you choose Thavma Yoga as a Studio?
* I needed time and space to focus on my physical and mental health. The second I finished my first Thavma Yoga class, I knew I found the best solution for me.

5. What was your first Thavma  yoga experience like?
* Game changer, humbling, awakening…. I didn’t realize I could get such a great workout, clear my head, and have lasting positive impacts after 1 class. I was hooked from then on.

6. What makes you come back?
* The yoga community is filled with extraordinary people, the caring and incredible teaching staff, and my overall physical and mental health.

7. How long have you been practicing?
* I believe I am going on 3 years of consistent practice.

8. What changes have you seen since you began the practice?
* Outside of physical body impacts (positive), mentally I am more calm, present, mindful, and practice gratitude on an everyday basis.

9. Where have you seen that it helps you?
* Mental clarity is the most pivotal and noticeable.

10. What is your favorite pose?
* Camel because it poses the greatest challenge 🙂

11. What is your least favorite pose?
* Camel because it poses the greatest challenge 🙂

12. What do you like most about Thavma Yoga?
* The workouts are challenging, and allow me to be mindful of each move and how I can improve. Thavma gives me a way to express yourself, my emotions, and become more in tune with my body and mind.

13. Tell us anything else interesting that you feel you have gained or learned since starting Thavma Yoga.
* 6 years ago I was hospitalized for Ulcerative Colitis. I never thought I would be able to live a normal life again. My UC would flare from stress, and it became critical to find an outlet that released that anxiety. Thavma has saved me in many ways, but for the stress release it provides, I am most grateful
