1. Tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Sarah Eichenbaum, I’m 19 years old and I’m studying Business Management at the University of South Florida. Some of my favorite things to do are singing, reading, exercising, going to the beach, and writing. And I especially love hot yoga!

2. Have you done other styles of Yoga other then Bikram Yoga?
I have never done any other type of yoga besides Bikram.

3. What made you decide to take your first Bikram Class?
My good friend Jenny fell in love with Bikram first and begged me to try it out, and I found that I absolutely love it!

4. Why did you choose Thavma Bikram Yoga as your Studio?
I chose Thavma because it is much more convenient than my old yoga studio and because many of my friends told me it was much better and had more positive energy.

5. What was your first Bikram yoga experience like?
My first Bikram yoga experience was very challenging and very, very hot! I felt like giving up the entire time but then at the end I felt completely refreshed and exhilarated.

6. What makes you come back?
Marina is the single reason I come back. She pushes me harder than anyone ever has and is the reason I have progressed as much as I have. I have never met someone who believes in me the way she does.

7. How long have you been practicing?
I have been practicing Bikram for a little over two years.

8. What changes have you seen since you began the practice?
I have seen many changes since the beginning. For example, at first, I couldn’t do the camel pose remotely. Now, I can go completely into the posture for the full two sets. I also am much more flexible, I can touch my toes when I’m stretching which I could never do before.

9. Where have you seen that it helps you?
I have seen that continuously doing Bikram helps with my peace of mind. I find myself going to a happy, calm place much quicker than I used to be. I have chronic stress disorder and I’ve suffered for many years, but ever since I started Bikram it has subsided enormously. I have seen myself become a much more motivated, happy person.

10. What is your Favorite pose?
My favorite posture is the standing bow. It forces me to focus on every muscle in my body and balance my upper body with my lower in total harmony. I love the way it feels when I can stay in the pose.

11. What is your Least favorite pose?
My least favorite (and becoming my second favorite at the same time) is camel. It is the most unforgiving of the postures and reminds me when I’ve been slacking with yoga and with my diet. It gives me much more self control and motivates me to push myself even when my mind tells me to stop.

12. What do you like most about Thavma Bikram Yoga?
The thing I love the most about Bikram, especially at Thavma, is the sense of community. I feel connected with my instructors and everyone in my classes. It is an extremely difficult class, and I feel us push each other throughout class and celebrate together when it’s over. It’s a great feeling
